The pictures here don't do the beauty of this cenote justice. The sun was shining, the temperature of the water was perfect, and as I was floating in the water, I couldn't help but think that I was dreaming. Bring goggles and you'll be able to see plenty of little fish swimming near the surface! Would definitely recommend the Cenote... More

If you want a relaxing and peaceful time in a cenote, this is the one. We were there for 2 hours on a hot sunny day and did not see anyone. apart from the guide that was overlooking for security reasons. Entrance is cheap, life vests free, very clean ad spacious changing rooms and bathrooms. A must see off the... More

Angel from Lawson Tours brought my 85 year old uncle and I to this gorgeous place. The swim was very refreshing. Would have liked to see more of the place, but we had a full day. They do make you wear life jackets, make sure you try on first as mine was too big and uncomfortable. If you have a... More

Located in a small pueblo - 15 km or so from Piste. Quiet and without crowds. No tour buses. Refreshing swim.

My girlfriend and I flew to Chichén Itza with Fly Tours Cancun, and asked them if they could take us to Yodzkonot instead if Ik-Kil. It was a good decision. Ik-Kil is always crowded and Yodzkonot is near the town of Pisté, which is very picturesque and has its own Chac Mool where you can get a picture. The cenote... More

We had no idea this Cenote existed till our guide at the cuevas de balankanche told us about it when i mentioned i wanted to go to ik kil but that my father didn't want to be around so many people. He said to go past piste and that the next town over you turn left and at the end... More

Cenote Yokdzonot is off the beaten path, about 18 kilometers from Chichen Itza beyond the simple town of Piste. If you get lost ask the locals for directions. If you could choose only one cenote in all of the Yucatan, choose to go to this one. I don't need to add any photos to those already posted by others. I'll... More

I hope this remains as seldom visited and that they never allow large tour groups. Absolutely beautiful, very close to the ruins, very good facilities, and nice staff.

What a hidden gem!!!! We should have gotten directions before leaving Cancun--- took us several hours to locate this magical place - well worth the trip!! It was so nice for an attraction not to be commercialized. The water was breathtaking and very cold ---refreshing!!! Words really can't describe it!!! After our swim--- we had good cold beer and chicken... More

If you get sick of the crowds at the more popular tourist destinations then stop by this great little place. The place is run by the local community and it has a fabulous restaurant and nice changing facilities and bathrooms. Life jackets are available for everyone and there is a simple little swimming platform at the bottom of some steps... More
