What can I say besides saying awesome and just the water and quiet beach is to die for.You can stay in Patong for two days but then head to Surin Beach for sure.

quiet and a bit wild

We went here on the way back from Green sanctuary elephant park as it was the closest one. The beach is quiet and wild (no umbrellas), you can spend some peaceful hours here. Also there is a rocky path to another even wilder and quieter beach - Laem Sing.

Great experience overall! The Surin Beach tour with AbsoluteAsiaTours.Com was fantastic, and our guide Stephen made it even better. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to answer our questions. The tour itself was well-organized, and we got to see all the highlights of Surin Beach, from the beautiful coastline to the local markets. We especially enjoyed the traditional Thai lunch that was included in the tour - it was delicious! The transportation was comfortable and on time, and we felt safe throughout the entire experience. We highly recommend AbsoluteAsiaTours.Com and Stephen for anyone looking for a great tour of Surin Beach!

All round perfect beach

We stayed a five min walk from here & came every day. The swimming is beautiful - water clear, very blue and clean. Depending on the wind there were some small waves but nothing dangerous. There were plenty of kids swimming happily.
Above the beach are a range of sun beds for hire and restaurants - we had lunch most days. Great value and delicious food. Attentive friendly staff.

Crowded but a great atmosphere

Decided to make the short trip from Kamala a spend some time in Surin. Taxi delivered us to the beach area. The traders seemingly expecting throngs as the beach area was packed with chairs, umbrellas, massage beds and all the other paraphernalia that is familiar on beaches in Thailand. The throngs were already arriving, food stalls and massage ladies very busy; we purchased a drink and sat for a while enjoying the views. Time to move when the stall owner kept glancing at our near empty bottles. In any event, too crowded for us.

Blue Lagoon beach restaurant rips off customers, AVOID

This restaurant-on-the-beach is the one at the big (and only) tree on the beach where people lie in the shade. It is a Russian hangout with menu items also written in Russian. This restaurant overcharged me by 100 baht - on a bill that should have been 170 they charged me 270. I should have examined the bill and then said something but I didn’t. I just handed over a 500 baht bill without looking. Maybe they count on their Russian customers not having enough English to argue when getting ripped off.

Amazing trip worth every penny, long day snorkaling and island was like a desert island, but wouldn't have missed it.

One of the most amazing trips we have done. Crew on catermaran, we're amazing. The snorkaling at 2 sites amazing. The lunch on Surin Island was brilliant, would certainly recommend trip long day but we'll worth it

Nice but a small beach

Clear azure water but crazy waves! Beware of the current when swimming with kids. It has some rocky area , girls went there for some intagram photos. This beach is relevantly a small beach compared to other beaches in Phuket

Very nice beach,we can find shop,food,sun,fun.
I love this beach,i like stay all the day at the beach,then take a massage and finally eat thai food.
If u don t have a motorbike there is a cheap bus from karon( 100 bath...raway-phuket the juorney).
