Lots of hairpin bends and cyclists made for an interesting drive to the summit. Parked up and walked part way up the path to the pic de midi. Superb views of vultures flying only slightly above us which turned out to be the best views...More

Rode the tourmalet from Luz St sauveur. Good steady climb most of the way. 7-8% a lot of it. Some 9-10% with the last K to the top quite steep. Pavement is in good shape. One small town on the way you can get water....More

Drive up to the col, walk or bike up! The views are amazing. Sometime you can find lamas up there and always sheep. In winter the col is shut for the ski resort to operate. Fabulous views in winter!

Must do! Very nice climb up the hill with phenomenal views. Important to realise there are a lot of cars/motors going up as well. At least 2 people are taking photos on the way up so if needed you can order a picture online.

To the top on the bikes from Luz St Sauveur. A challenging but throughly enjoyable climb with fantastic views. Small cafe and gift shop at the top.

We went here in May and rode all the way to the top. Nearly all the snow had gone, but there was still a few snow piles at the side of the road. All the ski hotels and ski lifts were closed. There were Alpaca...More

We did a lot of drives through the Pyrenees but this road in particular was outstanding. There are fabulous views on every turn and luckily if you're driving there are some spots you can stop to take photos. The road is windy but I didn't...More
