Norway is traditionally a seafaring nation, with a history of sailing, whaling and polar exploration that dates back to the Vikings. The ocean remains important to Norway, and the Oslo fjord is unique. Many of Norway's five million inhabitants live along this fjord, and it bears the weight of multipurpose usage. The Oslo fjord has a high diversity of marine life that you can see at the aquarium.

The aquaria is situated next to the fjord, has cheap entrance and is open every day. Though it is small it has all the species you find in the fjord. The animals seemed to be doing well.

We've visited aquarium in sunny, july day. It's a small but really interesting place with many fish species, crabs and other sea creatures. Truly recommended on one day visit in Drøbak.

In this aquarium you can see what sea hides under the surface. Some of aquariums are small and you can find almost everything. Here is also explain typical norwegian meal named "lutefisk" on the pictures.
