Banyumala twin waterfall is one hidden place in the valley. The location is too far away from Kuta, this is in Wanagiri Hills Sukasada Buleleng. I have go here by motorbike with my bf needs almost more 3hour for this Trip. The roads are very steep but everything is worth it. We found it one of the most beautiful waterfall even we must to trek down by walk to hundred stair. But its oke yaa. but easily do able in flip flops (sendal jepit) we feeling waterfalls is amazing and beautiful, the nature sounds, the stream of water is cold, clear, and have a good refreshing for us
Recommend to come here....

I am not one who visits every touristy site when I travel. On my trip to Bali I decided that I was gonna visit just one waterfall and I chose Banyumala twin waterfalls and I wasn't disappointed. The falls were beautiful and not too crowded. It was a long drive but the scenery was beautiful. The descent to the falls was steep and we did struggle to climb back up but I'm glad I visited. Change rooms and toilet facilities are available.

Visited this beautiful place recently with my grandson and daughter and we were not disappointed. Small entrance fee which includes a bottle of water. Walk down to the falls is a little challenging but you can take your time. Lots of beautiful scenery shots to take on the way down and benches to rest on. Waterfall area is clean and safe and great for pics. Great to swim in also. Water is cold and refreshing. Best part is you can get a motorcycle to take you back up the steep path way once you have walked back out of the Forrest area, cost of transportation back to car park, a bargain Rp 25.000.
Lots of fun.

We arrived here and luckily there was very little people there and basically had the whole waterfall to ourselves. water was chilly but you MUST get in if your there. we saw many people just take pictures and not get in. I'm so glad we jumped in, the water was perfect.
We had a private tour guide so it was easy for them to take us here through a rocky and rough road.

This was actually our favorite spot from our tours.

Our guide for the day took us to this waterfall and it was amazing! We had a choice of other busy ones but we like to go off the beaten path. This wasn't exactly easy to get to and it was a decent work out for the legs but definitely worth it. Got to swim in the pools below and it was awesome! Support the locals!

Reaching the waterfall requires around 20-30 minutes of trekking from car park area through narrow road and muddy forest path. Wear comfortable shoes and can visit with kids.

We did not swim in the water but people seemed to enjoyed in the waterfall. Complimentary water bottles given with the ticket at the entrance of the waterfall.

You can take a ride back up from the ticket counter to the car park in 25K IDR.

Amazing waterfalls in the middle of a rainforest. Worth of walking. Water is a bit cold, but you get used to it quickly. You really can hear there the sound of a rainforest. Listen and enjoy! Trip is not too bad to do with little kids. Our 4 years was really Ok.

We visited with a private driver. It was a long drive from Benoa. It's a steep road downhill to the parking lot and then a steep walk down to the entrance. On the way down, we saw fields of hydrangeas being grown for offerings. With the entrance fee, you receive a bottle of water. Then the steep walk down to the falls begins. Some parts had a rickety railing and some parts a structured steel railing. Most of the footing is uneven, loose stones, crossing tree roots, some mini-water areas. I'd suggest decent footwear. We saw some wearing flip flops. It is a bit of a challenge if you have knee issues but you need to walk at your own pace. Going down, I saw younger people coming back up huffing and puffing which was a bit concerning how I would come back up.
It was definitely worth going to the bottom of the waterfalls. It was my first time doing so. The water is clear, clean and cold, so refreshing after the hot climb down. We went on a Friday at about midday so there were a fair amount of people visiting.
The walk back up was steep but seemed easier than going down. We saw monkeys in the trees. When you return to the entrance gate, you can opt to hop onto the back of a scooter for the steep ride back up to the parking lot, for a small fee. I opted to walk back up the steep hill. That was a challenge too but glad that I visited and spent some time at the waterfalls.

We visited these falls one morning and they are spectacular. It is off the main road for a bit and you drive past a village. From the parking lot, they say it's another 300 m. But that was mainly downhill and back up again. Some parts were steep. If you have bad knees or are out of shape, this will be a challenge. As you get closer to the falls, it get's steeper and the steps are slippery and the footing is not always secure. However the trek down is worth it. The falls are gorgeous. Many people go for a swim there right under the Falls and it's not too deep. Definitely worth a visit.
