This place is located in Kerala. Here we have to walk 1 kilometres up. The we have to climb approximately 750-800 steps which is not scientific in nature. This palace is not worth climbing.

Simple, Wayanad knows for Edakal caves,but of course, along with other major attractions. This is an ancient cave which is in the list of unesco,have inscriptions aged about 4000 yr old. Need to climb up, requires about 4 hour to complete the trip . One...More

yes it was adventurous trek in Edakkal caves. it was great experiences to climbing between the rocks and ones you reach on the top it was wonderful view .must try lemon soda begin the caves

The Trek was awesome, we thoroughly enjoyed the place. The Cave is Beautiful with ancient writings and drawings, Good Sunlight, Best part is Kerala govt had arranged steps.

The hike to Edakkal caves is not the most challenging. Well built steps and roads are all along the route to the top. Shops selling food / mementos etc. are omnipresent. Once you reach the top, you will realize that the caves dont look spectacular!...More

Its is good tourist spot. Lot of food shops on the way to caves. Car parking to ticket counter trekking is tough esp. with kids. must see place in wayanad.

It is a bit of a hike so try to go when it is not too hot and also try to go early in the morning because as the sun comes up you will find it more difficult to climb.

No certainly not. You may not be able to carry your child and climb the rocky path. In some places you have to climb 2 ft high on a single rock.
