We have taken our various 'under-10y' grandchildren several times. Various contacts; feeding lambs/kids, petting chicks, ducklings, rabbits; sitting on straw bales to watch the interactive Sheep Show; tractor rides. When they are bored with these there are the trampolines, the zip wire, the indoor speedway...More

A working farm wth added extractions such as rare breeds and ancient British farm stock. Interesting information about the history of farming in Great Britain. Excellent cafe and shop.

After seeing Adam Henson on Country file I was excited to visit the farm. I was disappointed that the visitors area is a small specially built area and mainly aimed at young children. Lots of play area but no feeling of farming. More a small...More

This is definitely a place to take children. Chicks to hold and animals to feed. Not really a place for adults only, not enough to keep you occupied. Nice cafe with reasonable prices. We went on a very hot day, arrived at ten, no tour...More

Everything is really well done here and we've been to our fair share of farm parks! Everyone who works here seems really invested in the aims of the farm and is so knowledgeable. We saw Adam Henson around and about - it's obviously a real...More

A very good family day out trip. There are hands on activities, bouncy air bags, a really good café and gift shop.

Like many others, we went there as a result of Countryfile. We got to handle an hours-old chick, but in truth there is precious little there for grown-ups. All teh chidlren there were having a whale of a time and good luck to them, but...More

Yes they will love it. If they get fed up with the animals (of course they won`t!) they can play in the big sand pit or on the bouncy trampolene. They can have freedom to choose then revisit things. You just need the right... More

I didn't think it was a large area and you maybe fine. I just stopped for a bit and watched the animals do their thing.
