Kids loved this prehistoric museum / it's been refurbished to a super high standard. Kids and parents loved it. You have to make sure you enjoy some of the workshops and demos which they run - brilliant. Lots to do around the village also. Well...More

It's a fun and educational place for your kids, the building itself it's really impressive with big windows and sunlight everywhere, makes it even more appealing

We loved the wooly mammoth and the pre-historic elk! No cafe, but a huge picnic area and lovely gardens.

I appreciate people we have spoken to do not like the new building attached to the old chateau but I think it looks excellent facilities are good too, as well as the grounds and car park spacious. And what a location.
