Wow - something for all ages here as the activity is split into age/ability appropriate courses so those who are young as 4-5 can still try some of the smaller climbs and feel secure. For the brave few of you there are some pretty mind blowing climbs, following by tight-rope walks and amazing fun zip wires (across the lake). It's hard work, often terrifying but also very exhilarating (and I hate heights - still do mind you!). The staff are very helpful and ensure safety at all times, with training and harnesses etc). You may want to consider long sleeved tops oh, and ask for gloves as they have them, we didn't (sore hands).

If you get stuck or have a wobble (10 year old son did) they are very calm and can get you down if you really can't manage. Its brilliant fun and afterwards when your arms are too tired to do anything more than hold a beer or an ice cream, the beautiful lake is a mere 10 steps away with clean water, white sand and pedalos and canoes for those of you who have any energy.

On a decent day - spend the day, there is food to buy or take a picnic, other than that aim to spend at least 2-3 hours to do all the course. You MUST do the zip wire across and back the lake but you have to be over 50kg so rules out most pre/early teens.

My 9 year old and his older cousin did this. A great way to spend a couple of hours and I was so proud to see my young lad 10 meters up, walking across a wire - we thought he'd be a bit scared on the higher parts but he relished the challenge. Fun for the kids. Next time he'll be heavy enough to do the zip wire across the lake. Adequate safety briefing.

Wow! We decided to visit here on a cloudy day to keep 3 teenage boys entertained. They had a fantastic time completing the high ropes courses which took them about 3 hours in total. The level of difficulty increased as they progressed through the different sections and there were some imaginative and challenging obstacles and a number of zip wires - including 2 massive ones at the end which took them across the lake and then back again.

Needless to say, they slept well that night!

Casteljaloux is way inland and not on what most people would call a tourist visit , however !! if staying in the area then the lake is great for kids , tree climbing , boats , swimmıng , beach , snack places , lovely walks . For those who like the near camping style holıday then there are a large number of wooden chalets built in the woods , also available is the casino , feel free to lose money ,enjoyable if you like thıs sort of thing
Opposite the lake is a very well laid out golf course .The town is only about 1 km where you will find a good selectıon of restaurants

A very nice walk around the lake for the parents and a thrilling treetop adventure course for our 3 teenagers. They loved it and so did we!
