For those of you who love honey and wine (what's not to love) Drimia is a must-visit winery in israel. I am working my way through Israeli wineries and Drimia was a visit that I particularly loved.

The father of the vinter makes incredible honey which is 100% pure and sweet. We were able to sample it directly from the honeycomb! What a treat.

I first discovered their wine in a Lev Haolam surprise package and wanted to explore more of their wines.

Their vineyard is located in southern Judea - where the Hebron Hills meet the Negev desert. This location experienced extreme conditions with wind, temperature fluctuations and a longer growing season which renders flavorful grapes that are perfect for wine making.

It is a stop that feels "off the beaten path" - it's simple and beautiful and the wine did not disappoint me. I particularly enjoyed their reds and their blends. Their wine is Kosher and non-mevushal
