We had visited nearby Harrison's Cave and thought that whilst we were in the area we would visit the gully. We definitely would not make a special trip here. It is a nice easy walk through lush and verdant greenery divided into sections. Unless you...More

We took a chance and went when it rained-the small hut you will pass by IS the ticket office. The path winds, and some plants are not well marked, but the quiet and shade are worth it.

A little bit of a journey, but it's worth the trip just to witness the monkey's in their own surroundings. You can take a nice stroll through the historic area and read up on all the trees and native plants that are growing in the...More

Lovely nature trail but only saw 3 monkeys the entire time. It should be promoted as a botanical/ forest rather than an animal attraction. Nice, damp and cool forest bed. Worth a visit.

I know nature is not everyone's cup of tea, but from the negative reviews on here I suggest people do some research/homework before visiting. I'm fairly sure there is only one guided tour and public monkey feeding per day. The tour stars at 1030hrs (don't...More

Hired a car today and the first stop was here as my daughter wanted to see some monkeys. Unfortunately we didn't see a single one. The young girl on the kiosk couldn't of been less helpful if she tried. The walk through the park itself...More

We debated which nature park to go to, Welchman's or Barbados Wildlife Reserve. I think we picked the wrong one. Our friends went to the Wildlife Reserve and loved it. We went to Welchman's and did not see any monkeys! Stayed from 10:30 to 12:30...More

We enjoyed our trip to Welchman Gully - we spend a couple of hours slowly walking through the gully, observing the many different species of trees and plants using the guide supplied (some of those numbers are quite well hidden!). It was nice and cool...More

It was cool to see the more natural side of Barbados compared to the resort areas. We enjoyed getting to see the monkeys, and you have to get there at 10:00 a.m. to be assured you will see them since this is the time they...More

Feeding is as mentioned above @10.30 and noon. What they are feeding is another story because I only saw 3 monkeys the entire time. I drove from Christ church but you can get the local bus. You will need a transfer to a 2nd... More

Hi. I really am not sure, my guess would be about $40Us, this is for a return trip. The driver will wait for you and drive you back.. If you are coming from the port on a cruise ship, it will be cheaper to get a taxi from... More
