I loved visiting this island. The rental equipment is expensive so just be prepared for that if you plan on renting anything. The Pina Colada's are delicious and the Bartender is very friendly and delightful. The rocks and coral in the Ocean are pretty sharp...More

This is the best part of the resort. The island is great and not crowded even on the weekend. The hotel ferry runs frequently so never waiting. Plenty to do on the island for the whole family. I recommend going here if no where else...More

We stay at El Conquistador Hotel and the hotel have a free transportation to Palomino Island.... beautiful beach to spend a day.

It does say in the guide book there is a private part of the beach not open to the public . When we went there was no one on the island but a caretaker bc nothing was open yet .

I don't have information about the current status of El Conquistador, however I advise you call the hotel and inquire info.Also be mindful Palomino may not be restored because is a small island separate from El Conquistador... More
