All the elephants are chained and appear to be distressed and bored. It upset me and I didn't find the visit enjoyable. I wouldn't return back here again or recommend the experience to anyone I know.

I was heartbroken to see the vast majority of the elephants chained to a post that kept them stuck under a small roof. While they suggested they are freed at points, nothing suggested it was without cost.

Wanted to show elephants up close to my little daughters. We could not only see but touch and feed water to little baby elephants. My daughters absolutely loved the experience. Definitely worth a visit.

A great opportunity to see these amazing animas and get a ride in the forest!! You can also have the chance to share a bath in the river with the elephants. You can enjoy beautiful sunset and explore the village. I will go again first...More

This is truly an awesome place, you really need to visit! Wanna give water to baby elephants? If you are lucky, this could happen here. Especially for kids, but also for grown ups, very special experience to get that close to these amazing animals!

Found this centre distressing The elephants were chained and obviously bored. This experience was so different from Sri Lanka 's elephant centre where they roamed free

We found this to be interesting, with our guide sharing info about the elephants, their required source of food.

I firstly went to visit the museum section to learn about the centre itself and the elephants they keep there. I was quite disappointed to find out that this was actually a centre for breeding and training elephants for domesticated use, not a sanctuary for...More
