Eriskay 5* Must visit. Many people must be tempted to drive straight through Eriskay on their way to the Barra ferry. Well you should make time for Eriskay and walk this lovely beach where Bonnie Prince Charlie landed with a few followers, see the place...More

The beach has white sand and the clearest sea we have seen in a very long time. Such a beautiful colour. I would not want to go on the beach barefoot though as there was some broken glass.

Stunning beach with beautiful sand and turquoise water! We even braved a paddle in early April after a lovely walk up the hill!

Breathtakingly beautiful beaches carpetted in sea shells and white sands in every cove. Stunningly tranquil destination with welcoming residents. A must see for anyone looking for that special place.

There are too many beautiful beaches on Eriskay to single out one in particular. A beautiful island.

Excellent B&B and owners couldn't have been more helpful. Great location, superb breakfast, lovely room with lots of little treats, home made scones, rocky road nibbles, wine chilled, glasses supplied and made to feel very welcome. Well worth a visit.

Great place to visit. Take your waterproofs. We travelled round the islands on a small boat. So saw the seals and whales that live nearby. Enjoy the rugged coast and beautiful scenery.

It is a very nice little beach. For lovers of the Scottish history this beach is important, because Bonnie Prince Charlie landed there in 1745 für his attempt to recapture Scotland.

On a truly abysmal day where our ferry crossing to Barra was cancelled it was still a joy to see the spot where Prince Charles Edward Stewart made his first football.Though his claim was true the man was clearly unfit to command an army and...More

Hi, when you drive past the older cemetery ( stone wall ) you carry on following the road past the newer houses, there's a parking area on the right after the last of the newer houses, there's a grassy slope that leads down... More
