The sculpture was great but the area it was in needed to be cleaned up. It seems the city needs to step up trash collection in the city overall.

This is a small and poorly maintained memorial to the Tsunami victims. There's not really much to see and the area is dirty and generally pretty horrible. You'll probably pass it on the way to the beach but it's definitely not worth going out of...More

This is just a sculpture in the midst of a trash heap. My family walked right by the memorial without even realizing something was there because of all the trash and the smells made it hard to get them back. If your on the Kamala...More

This memorial park, which could be beatyfull is due to neglitance filthy and filled with shaby small bussinesses. Not a place to visit, but it could be with some cleaning.

There’s 1 statue dedicated to the Tsunami victims and survivors. I wouldn’t go here just to purely visit the statue otherwise you might feel disappointed as not a great description or information readily available. Usually there is some other activity happening at the same site....More

There is not much here but it is a nice tribute to those who lost their lives. Clean but a little difficult to access.

You have to run the beach to find that unimposing memorial. Not good conserved. The park around is not proper.

The park is nice but needs maintainance. Looks a little like nobody cares about the neatness of the park. Yet, there are a lot of restaurant opportunities and a beach just some meters away.

Hard to imagine in such a beautiful location. Nicely done and worth a visit. Recommend visiting the memorial, reading and reflecting then sitting on the beach trying to visualise it. Very difficult.

I feel sad to write this review as I was disappointed in the venue. It has the potential to be a lovely memorial park with the most amazing symbolic metal sculpture. It looks run down and vandalized. With the smallest of effort this memorial park...More
