Sterile bar that tries to be upscale by training its doorwomen and bartenders to be snobs.They would not let us sit at a table unless we ordered bottle service even though 3/4 of the tables were empty. A security guard hovered around us. Drinks are Manhattan prices and stingy portions. I could not tell for a fact, but I suspected that the drinks were watered down. There are much better western style bars/clubs to visit.

This used to be a great bar but it's now all drugged up mainlanders. Crazed girl ran across the bar last night and threatened to burn us with her cigarette. Staff seemed to want to get rid of the foreigners rather than manage the drug users. Be careful here, esp if you aren't Chinese looking... Can't comment if you are local chinese (I'm American). We spoke to the local police about the drugs and they seemed reluctant to intervene. possibly run by the triads?

What a disappointment last night was. We’ve been in the past and always had a good experience. Not so last night. We went to celebrate my birthday ( although restaurant didn’t know that). Table pre booked. We walked in the door and were ignored by staff who were st the bar, even though they turned round and saw us. We moved towards them and one waiter came up to us. We were put right at the back of the restaurant and left without menu or asking if we wanted a drink. Eventually a surly waiter came to take our order. I asked for a small wine and a large one turned up! First course eventually arrived and was ok. For main my partner ordered Arrabiata and I ordered Amatritian(!). When the waiter bought them to the table he didn’t know which was which and once we started eating neither did we they both tasted exactly the same. We were then totally ignored. The manager/ boss/ owner was sitting watching what was going but didn’t once direct a waiter to our table. A dessert menu was eventually delivered to us but by this time we’d hsd enough sompaid bill and left NEVER to return again. There are plenty more restaurants in Church Road.

A very large selection of quality alcohol of all types plus staff who is prepared to mix your favourite cock/mocktail.
We were 30 years too old but like the music and the atmosphere and had a great evening.

My husband and I were stung when being stopped at the entrance because the two young guards wanted to check our ID. There were 3 Taiwanese going in the same elevators with us who got in easily without any ID checking. Seriously what was wrong with them? We are both over mid-thirty and look like their parent. Are they blinded or simply racists because we are foreigners?

We went here before walking a block to get to the club. It was pretty loud, but not overly packed with people. Definitely not conducive if you are interested in having a full on conversation with someone, but cool environment! We went during one of the World Cup games and they had two large screens showing it which made it that much more exciting! We went on a Friday night. The cover was 500NTD and came with two drink tickets.

It was busy yes, many young kids there though, seems like a hang out place for college students. Crowd not too local, some expats there. Quite a large place, I wouldn’t say the drinks or music were particularly good, and it’s not cheap either. But sure, it’s an okay nightlife option.

I've never been in a place which they start judging you the moment you entered the bar. The employees acted like they were way too cool for us. I would suggest girls who wanted to visit the place, wear see through clothes or heels (which make you look fancier) maybe that’s what they prefer. Honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone.

The place is pretty well-decorated. It's a lounge located in center of Taipei. There are many bars and club near by so it's suitable for the first stop of a long night. The drinks are fine, a bit pricey but it's average consider the area. Perfect place for pre drinking or you just simply want a chill night out hanging with friends, play some pool.
