On our stay in Knysna, we went for a drive up to Tenikwa to see some wildlife. For the girlfriend of our son, it was the first time she came to South Africa and we wanted to show her a bit of wildlife. Unfortunately their stay was to short to include a safari, but she was impressed with Tenikwa and loved... More

This was a wonderful afternoon, starting with the tour of the cats. Plenty of opportunity to take as many photos as we liked. We were allowed into some of the enclosures allowing us to get close to the animals. Then we did the walk with a cheetah. This was a wonderful experience with lots of time and photo opportunities with... More

We only ever visit animals that are in danger and need a good home to be looked after. We have visited an elephant nature reserve in Thailand so thought we would do Tenikwa whilst on the Garden Route. It turned out to be well worth it. Our guide "Ash" was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful - thank you. Ash took... More

My mother and I enjoyed seeing all the cats at such close proximity. It was easy to get a tour upon just arriving. Cloud, our guide, was very good, although one needed to pay close attention to his English.

The guides are very informative and explained the plight of some of the rescued animals. A lot of thought has gone into welfare and the enclosures are really large giving the animals space and privacy, please support this centre.

Peter our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a pleasure to do the 1 hour walk with. We were very fortunate to get to see all the cats and were even allowed in to the enclosures with the cerval and cheetahs! Such a memorable experience for my friend from overseas! Would highly recommend for everyone to visit this centre if... More

We enjoyed the fototour and it was great to get so close to the animals and still keep a respectable distance.
