Arecibo Lighthouse & Historical Park, offers to the general public The Morillos Lighthouse from 1898, last Lighthouse built by Spanish Government in the island just before the Hispanic-American War. It was totally restored and opened to the public in 2001. In the surrounding areas, some replicas of elements of Puerto Rico history like Taino Village, Spanish Conquest with 3 ships, African Hut, Pirate Ship and the only salt-water aquarium in the island. Also Decks with the magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean. You can access the "Splash by the Lighthouse" a wading pool area for kids and adults.

Loved it!! It's great for kids. The small aquarium, the lighthouse and the views are great. After seeing all that, you can enjoy the pool.

Excelent to bring kids. For couples is not to much to do. At the lighthouse is a great view. There is a fee at the entrance.

I visited last month and paid $16. This place was not worth my money, the establishment is deteriorating and really dangerous. The woodwork on the ships, the painting on the statues, the smell on the artwork, the lightning on the pirates cave need work on....More

We visited Arecibo Lighthouse yesterday on our trip to Arecibo. The lighthouse fee isn't worth anything!!!! Much Better views can be seen from places near it, across it. They charge $12/pp and $8 parking. Access inside the lighthouse is only allowed to the lifeguard so...More

Really nice view from the top. The beach, palms, the country side looks gorgeous. Entrance is kinda expensive to be honest tho

2 adults, 1 child=$34 a Wednesday in February. "Park"( it looks more like a playground), empty and still charging full price?!?!?!?! Ridiculous!
