The place is still under construction after 10 years. The Big Buda Sculpture had been designed and constructed with soft stones perfectly. Bury in mind shorts, top and bikinis are strictly forbidden.

If you ask me I would say best time to go there is 9am in the morning !! Get to take many beautiful views And they have monks praying in the morning !! Half completed but still good !!!!!!!

Hi Kaz, hiring motorbike will be if there only 2 of you and most importantly must have good riding skill as the roads are narrow and need proper handling especially during the return. Don't use tuk tuk service for Big Buddha... More

There are no buses that will take you directly to Big Buddha. It's a 40 min trip from Patong so I would recommend. Private taxi and then take in a few other sites . Taxi will be the cheapest in the long run Big Buddha is... More
