I have seen films of sheep-herding border collies, but never before witnessed them live in action. Brendan Ferris is a fantastic dog trainer and his dogs are so obedient and intelligent they seem like "Super-dogs!" In addition to educating the audience about various breeds of...More

First off, bring cash! They do not accept credit cards and I didn't see an ATM anywhere in site. Now for the fun part. They go over different types of sheep and frankly I didn't know there were so many varieties. Plenty of pictures opportunities....More

Our tour guide recommended this stop and it did not disappoint! Brendan puts on an amazing show, and of course the dogs and the sheep play a big part as well. The kids and adults alike in our tour got a huge kick out of...More

our tour guide guaranteed this would be a great stop and he was right. The sheep farmer worked his dogs with just an almost silent call or a whistle. They respond seperatly to different whistles . A very neat thing to see. We talked to...More

Brilliant experience! Brendan shows off his various sheep, plus his extremely well trained sheep dogs (border collies). He treats the dogs and the sheep with such respect and has the storytelling and comedic timing that makes it so enjoyable. Well worth the 5 Euro.

Hard to believe Mr. Brendan Ferris is not an actor, the way he does his explanations with the wit and knowledge he really does have the gift of gab. Other people have described this visit better, I'm just telling you it was the highlight of...More

We were here during a Ring of Kerry coach tour. I was a bit skeptical about paying extra for this attraction at first, but it was definitely worth the 5 euros. First we were presented all the different types of sheep, then the actual sheep...More
