If you're in the North Tipperary area and enjoy hill walking then The Devil's Bit is a must do. It's not particularly difficult going which gives you plenty of time to take in the lovely scenery.

Devil`s BIt is a fabulous place. Around the year you can have differents view, I really enjoyed the view from the mountains to the valley, it was very peaceful experience. Lovely place to walk with a dog, friends or by your own.

The Devils Bit is a hidden Gem in Tipperary. Coming from the hustle and bustle of London life, when I go there I love the solitude during week days of the place. On a clear day you can see for miles. I'm not a huge...More

Even if you don't go on the entire looped walk, you can stop in a few lower spots and still get a great view of the surrounding countryside. There's a couple of picnic tables and anyone with an average level of fitness should be fine...More

It's an awkward enough place to find, but it is signposted from there's a car park at the bottom, then an hours walking up a clearly marked track to the top. The walk up is quote steep, but easy.
