Hiked Cape Breton Island for 7 days with 14 people of varying abilities. They made it work to everyone's delight! The food was excellent as well as the accommodations. At lunch break on a longer hike they pulled out hot coffee and tea served in ceramic cups. I have hiked with other companies but found Freewheeling the best value...and the... More

Thank you for recognizing the talent of our guides in keeping the group happy in spite of varying abilities. That probably speaks to the general generosity of the group, too - a true adventure partnership we all appreciate as we try to make the experience extraordinary for everyone involved. More

5 years ago we did one of freewheeling Italy guided bike tours thru Italy. There happened to be only 4 in our group and it was amazing. Beyond expectations so when freewheeling e mailed us about our future travels my husband mentioned that we were going to Italy and would they put together a short trip for us. This time... More

Thank you for your review, and for recognizing the quality of your guide, lodging, and cuisine again. We prefer to include two guides on all Freewheeling adventures, but with small private groups such as yours it is normally not viable without adjusted cost. At the moment, we advertise our guide to guest ratio as 1:6 or better - one of... More

We joined Freewheeling for a guided cycling trip around the Cabot trail, plus some sea kayaking and bike rental in our second week, with our 12yr old boys. We could not have been looked after any better. From our initial contact, to advice on what to see and do in Nova Scotia and the trips themselves, everything was superb. Our... More

So far so great! 2days into a 6 day guided tour of Fundy Shores. Lovin' it!! Rode 58 km today around the scenic Aspotogan Peninsula. Included a picnic lunch laid out for us by Katie and Rochelle.

I live in NS and enjoy kayaking. When I have visitors it is always nice to know that I can order extra Kayaks including equipment from Freewheeling. They will bring the kayaks right to the shore line along with the necessary equipment. They will also deliver bikes. They than will pick up on approved date. I love the service, and... More

Thank you for your kind review. We are happy to deliver sea-kayak equipment for independent paddling when we have confidence in the skills and safety consciousness of the paddlers. Alternatively, we prefer to provide a skilled guide to enhance your experience and keep everyone safe. We also have excellent bicycles. More

We visited PEI in July 2015 for a bicycle trip utilizing Free Wheeling - we had an awesome experience. We chose the guided Side Roads Tour. Our accommodations were very good. Each night was different and unique. The food was top notch whether it was road side snacks, picnics, restaurants or at bed & breakfasts. The coffee made with freshly... More

Freewheeling provided a fantastic escorted 7 day bicycle tour of the south shore (Chester & Lunenberg area) and Annapolis Valley with hiking & sea kayaking options. The guide team provided excellent customer service to our group ensuring we were well hydrated and feed at every klick of the trip. Hills were never a problem with the escort van available for... We booked a multi activity trip for a week in Nova Scotia with 2 other couples. I have never received customer service like this - it was beyond exceptional. We had a wonderful experience on our Cabot Trail bike trip with Freewheeling. The accommodations were all great and the route was nicely planned. The very best of all was our fantastic guide Bob, who was friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, and so very carefully made sure everything went well on our trip. He even found a moose for us! We can't... More

I was a bit apprehensive when I signed on for a biking trip as I am a hiker. I should not have worried. This company knows the meaning of customer service - it's all about you!
