This place is a must even if you think you don't care for rugs. It will blow your mind at the work that goes into some of these pieces. The owner is a cute French-speaking lady who is a gem.

I was planning to bring a group of 16 to the Hubbards area and was disappointed to learn the museum had closed for the season. But—no problem! They graciously offered to meet us and open up just for us. Amazing hospitality! My group enjoyed seeing...More

The visitor center at the front is free, minimal charge to see the hooked rug section but is not to be missed. This is a dying art of incredible talent and beauty. Our guide had an amazing sense of humour and made the tour that...More

We stopped at the shop where I bought a mug rug and a bag of scraps for my own crafts. We didn't have time to see the Museum, but there was plenty of interesting things to read about and see in the shop.

What beautiful artistry is woven into rugs! Unbelievable! Our only regret was not to see someone actually hooking. We did enjoy seeing how the design/picture is laid out on the backing to get an idea of all the intricacy. WOW! What patience and love go...More

I was very impressed with the museum. I have been there 3 times over the past 3 years and each time was completely different and just as enjoyable. I am not a rug hooker yet I was surprised by the incredible talent and designs.
