could not find any fault with this trip, crew looked after us non stop, bottle of water and breakfast first then watermelon and a fruit drink followed by a cold flannel on the way back, everyone got a chance to see the whales, people who were seasick were not made to feel bad and given bags and tissues, luckily I... I got up very early and made my way to the harbour. Every little detail has been thought through by a very professional team of people. After last night's mother of all thunderstorms I had wondered whether the trip would take place! For those that had not brought their own seasick tablets there were plenty on offer. There was quite... More

Our agent in the UK booked our whale watching trip with MWS and we were delighted with them. Yes, it's an early start but as soon as you get to MWS, you are offered tea, coffee, sea sickness tablets (yes, really) then once on the boat, you are offered a bottle of water and breakfast (fried egg sandwich, 2 sausages... We went on a private Blue Whale Watching tour in March 17 with Marisa Water Sports. Boat was great, crew were even better but the whales stole the show. Fantastic experience, think we were lucky with very calm weather. If within your budget highly recommend a private tour with Marisa Watersports. One of our highlight experiences in Sri Lanka seeing... More

The staff is really friendly, I appreciate how they were putting attention on us to find a good place to everyone seeing the whale (I've got some amazing shots). Breakfast is included, as well as some drinks and fruit. Also they give a pill to prevent seasickness (which... More

It was very impressive to see the whale. The employees were very kind and helpful and our boat was always very close to the whale. Nice experience! I would highly recommend it.

Whale watching was great. We were warmly welcomed with a nice coffee and afterwards guided to the boat. There were life vests for everybody and the bpat has a lot of space. We were given water and a nice breakfast (fried egg on 2 slices of bread, sausage and a banana). Once we were at the sea, the whale watching... More

We groaned at the thought of a 5am start from our hotel and questioned our mental state at the prospect of such an early start. Was it worth it? You bet it was. As soon as we arrived at the office we were offered coffee and, if you were worried about "mal de mer", tablets were available. On board there... More
