Sunrise at Duoyishu

Another view from the other side of the Rice Terraces in Yuanyang. Opposite the Tiger Mouth Terrace. Beautiful sunrise. You feel so wonderful and peaceful with nature.

The rice terrace are spectula. Know wonder it is a world heritage cultural site. Bada rice terrace is well worth the stop. Just think about the farmers. They have primitive tools to cultivate and they have to get their buffalos down the fields to plow then plant rice by hand.

The scenery created by the rice fiels is really amazing. The one of Duoyishu is beautiful as sunset or sunrise. There is a big terrace in the village from where you can admire the view and take pictures.

There are different villages at Yuanyang and I spent the night at Duoyishu. I really liked it! It has some nice views of the rice terraces and you can easily access other ones by mini vans. There's nothing to eat around there (at least during low season), so make sure your hostel offers food or take some food with you!

It is inevitable that sometimes one cannot choose when one is able to take a vacation, and so we certainly visited these famous rice terraces at the wrong time of the year. We were told that November is the best time to see the terraces in all their glory, but having no choice, we spent four days in the area... More

As the best place to take sunrise photos, we went there before 7 am. Luckily it's not foggy as usual, amazing photos were shot

We went there. Beautiful. We were lucky to go to the youth hostel. The guy was very helpful. Go to Bada sightseeing but don't enter. Walk by yourself and you will enjoy the sunset as good. We went to see also LaoYingZui. Not man made yet.

This is avery typical, unspoilt little village right in the middle of rice terraces. The views are magnificent and there is a good choice of guest houses to stay.

This is a place where you have to be at least once in your life. The sightseeing of the terraces and the ethic lifestyle is definitely worthy. The food also is great!!
