Sandy beach with easy access and miles of clean sand. Tide goes out a long way! A couple of cafe/bars and takeaway pizza outlets, bakers and fruit/veg shop and a couple of seaside clothing and knick-knack shops. Love this beach!

Clean and sandy beach , huge space . . The sea is sometimes quite far away because of the tide which enable people to go foot fishing : there are various shells mussles and above all clams . When the tide is high you can go swimming in the gentle waves . This beach is not dangerous . A dream... More

The owner of the property we rented told us about Las Salines and the beach at Brehal. We took the kids out to get some air and although the weatehr wasn't the best it was nice to have a walk along this huge un-spoilt beach. There is adequate parking a few shops and restaurnat, but all in understated (at least... More

Great family beach - very clean and well maintained. We have visited in July an August and there is plenty of space for everyone even though its is very popular. The sand are very accessible even with a pushchair and there is a lovely long promenade for after supper strolls to enjoy the last bit of the setting sun and... More

Plage Saint-Martin-de-Brehal is very nice and very interesting. You can walk aong the shore or rest on the beach and enjoy the sea and sun for hours. It is fun to stay there and we want to come again.

I feel a little reluctant to write this review having read so may fine reviews for this lovely area, but I have to be honest - the beach is nice but there are a lot better out there this great big world. We visited St Martin de Brehal in early July, and walked along the beach several times over a... More

Visiting the plage in Brehal was one of the most intersting parts of our stay. It is one of the largest sites for oyster and mussel farms, which are "harvested" by local residents, complete with their tractors etc. at low tide. There is also a very interesting tidal salt marsh on the approach to the beach - don't get caught... More
