This is a nice spot on the Tokyo tour. Easy to find, just a short walk from the metro stop. You can also see the Rainbow Bridge in the background. The area is nice for evening walks. A big shopping center is also close by.

Think about what people considered the future to be in the 80's. This is it. Catch the unmanned monorail out there. Check out the strange theme park. Visit the shopping centre filled with weird food shops and arcade game halls. A fun odd day out.

We visit the islands just before leaving Japan. Museum, park, restaurants and Toyota showroom. Great place to go when you are done with temples and shrines in Japan.

Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris
wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of
shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a
hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is
very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has
ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find
restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The
neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much

We caught the train and then changed to the monorail; if you have a map of the train lines it’s quite easy to find.
