This is a rather small sized museum as compared to others and mainly meant for the children on the theme of electricity. The exhibits and displays about how electricity are created, generated and it's effects etc, are interesting and fun for the little ones but are mainly in the Japanese language though.
The museum is located about 6mins walk from Fushimi station and is free admission. You can walk around in the building, enjoy the washroom and aircon before heading to your next destination, which we did, another couple minutes of walk to the science musuem!

It took me sometime to find the entrance. Once inside it was a very interesting experience. I would have liked to be fluent in Japanese but I managed to get enough information from the displays.

There are great displays of all aspects of the production, distribution, and use of electricity. There are only some basic signs in English. It is designed for junior high school students and has a lot of space for sitting. If you are run off your feet, you can take a break, relax and use the clean toilets. It is free entry. If you are a collector of museum impression stamps, take your book here. I think I must have found about seven to add to my collection here.
