Did the horse riding as part of the Viking Horse riding and Blue Lagoon trip organised by Grey Line. It was the day after a very heavy snow fall so was glad the trip wasn't cancelled! The view was simply amazing. The owner and his family/staff were very nice and helped us chose our waterproof outfits and hats and then... More

My eight year old daughter and I are regular horse riders and could not wait to try the Icelandic horses especially the tolt. Our original session was cancelled because of a blizzard but rebooked for the afternoon which turned out to be beautiful. We had a lovely ride with lots of tolting. My daughter was little frustrated because her horse... More

My girlfriend wanted to see Icelandic horses while on vacation. This was the #1 recommended place to visit for horseback riding, so we booked our tour. They picked us up from our hotel in Reykjavik and it was a short 20min drive to the farm. The staff here was amazing! They were so nice and helpful and you can tell... More

I was so excited to ride the Icelandic horses, but was not prepared for how amazing the entire experience was. From being greeted by the dog, Sir Charles Winchester IV in the snow (he knows magic!), to each employee being so helpful, fun, full of stories and some of them downright hilarious. The horses were gentle, friendly, and easy to... More

As a beginner in riding the horse, there was no initial safety orientation rules done. You just jump and instructions were given how to hold the horse. At the beginning I already told the guide to watch me but because there were 25 of us and only 2 guides. Its impossible! At first, I felt good but after the break,... More

Yep, that sure was bad luck. Honestly you were a part of a group of 15 with three guides, the young man helping you being my son. As this was my bi-monthly day off what I have to go on is the afterreport filed. You slid off on walking speed and the horse stopped, starting again when you kicked him... More

Just back after the most amazing experience riding horses through Icelandic Countryside. Went with my husband and 10 year old daughter. We are all inexperienced riders but thoroughly enjoyed it. Even our daughter's unscheduled dismount did not detract from the overall experience. Thank you especially to Eva who did an amazing job helping us all. Riding through 2 rivers was... More

Fantastic ride with my two girls. Extremely obliging family run business, who were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Phoned the day before and they were able to accommodate us without hesitation (not even a deposit to pay up front). Turning up in 'civvies' we were delighted to find that everything was supplied: waterproofs, boots as well... More

I still can't get over how adorable the little guy looks at first, then you find out that for a rather small 'orse, it's got a lot of 'personality'. (Read: Won't do a damn thing you ask it to, does what it wants when you don't.) It's a great adventure learning how these amazingly strong horses handle a rider and... More

Let me start by saying that my friend and I, both experienced riders who've ridden Icelandics before, loved this ride. We really did. The scenery was beautiful, the horses were awesome and the people were very kind, efficient and helpful. They kitted everyone out with waterproof clothing, hats and offered waterproof boots. I'd brought my own gear (brand new leather... More
