Absolutely stunning views from the top, but even going part way is fantastic

Hike as little or as far as your stamina and interest allow, but there are stunning views in every direction from the mountain and they only get better the farther you go.

The views from Cadillac Mountain are breathtaking. There is a wonderful trail around the top of the mountain that is highly recommended and easy for most people to walk. . Love the displays that point out various sites from the top.

This was a great tourist spot, and what was so enjoyable was reaching the top and there was a bagpiper playing which was so awesome - Loved Loved Loved - can't wait to go back .

Our tour to Cadillac mountain was grand. It was the last one for the guide and driver for this Fall season. The color of the leaves did not disappoint and the view was spectacular!

We went up to the top of Cadillac Mountain after lunch and then again at sunset. Beautiful about half way up as the sunset. At the top - lots of hiking trails, plenty of easy trails for a variety of views looking out over Bar Harbor and the various islands. If you visit Acadia Ntl Park - you don't want... More

Love that you can drive up to the top so you can catch the sunrise, no matter the weather. Great 360 view. Would love to see this again in the summer. Bring blankets this time of year, its FRIGID but well worth it!

After my research (which ended up being wrong)...I thought we'd have to hike up this Mtn. I don't mind hiking but I wasn't prepared for a dark early morning hike... ends up you can drive right to the top! I wish I knew that because we'd have loved to see the sunrise! Parking was getting very tight by the time... More

What to add to all the reviews of Cadillac Mountain? We heard people in Canada talking about this mountain, how much they liked it. So we would not want to miss it and stayed here both sunset and sunrise. The sunset was a little disappointing but sunrise made up for that!, although we had to get up at 4.30 as... More

The drive up is beautiful with views across the island. There were plenty of pull ins to stop to take in the views and photograph the scenery. The one disappointment was that the car park at the summit was full so we were not able to park and take in the views to the south east.
