Hiked up to delicate arch with my wife. It was hot...100 plus....which made the short hike more challenging. Watched the sunset. Neat place to see...probably won't go back though.

For years I'd seen it on Utah license plates and vowed to see it in person one day... and I finally did! My son and I hiked up to it last October, on an intermittently cloudy day in the high 70's low 80's. Despite the...More

I have hiked to Delicate Arch 4 times in my life, but this was the first time I had done it at sunrise. It was one of my favorite ways to see it. Sunrise at Delicate Arch has way less crowds, great lighting and cooler...More

Visited during xmas break. The trail was very icy but it was worth the effort to hike all the way to see this beautiful arch. In visit center we bought the slide stop device for $11, it buckled up on the shoes. It definitely helped...More

It had snowed the day before and going up and down the rocks were very icy and some were definitely not prepared. Wear proper shoes! Well worth it to get to the end!

You need to hike about 30 minutes to get up to the arch from the parking lot. It is a little uphill too. If you don't want to do the hike you can also see the arch up in the distance right from the parking...More

Lots of uphill going out to the arch but it's worth every step! The hike is just beautiful...so much to look at. Be sure to take lots of water. Even in late November the temperature can be warm.

Yes you can see some Arches from the car and the pull offs on the road, like Double Arch, but Delicate Arch you have to hike too. You would have to do some in depth Park research to know which famous Arches can be seen from... More

There is only one entrance on the north end of Moab. When we were there, they were having construction on the road going into the Park.
