Very easy to see from the road but you can walk a very short distance and get much closer. It's one of about 2,000 arches in the park. The walk to the arch is not handicap accessible.

This extremely short walk on a slightly difficult to follow trail goes to an interesting Arch which is different from most of the others you can visit because it is very high up and seemingly inaccessible. Worth a visit if you have done most of the other walks

Skyline Arch is a fairly large red rock arch along the Arches scenic drive about 17.4 miles from the park entrance, near Devil's Garden. It is easy to see from the road (on the east side), or the small parking area. A short, rocky trail leads to the base of the arch (.4 mile round trip, not wheelchair accessible). Closest... More

Easily viewed from the road, it's just a bonus view as you drive further into the park. Not our favorite arch, but we loved all of Arches National Park, which is a very special place.

In October 2016, my wife and I hiked this short trail out to the arch and back. The arch itself is worth the look, but the highlight of this hike for us was when we got to the foot of the arch to find a young woman bounding up the large stones. She was already 20 feet above where we... More

What you see from the road is what you get. You can take a short hike (10 minutes max) to get close but the best views are from the parking area. Spaces are limited here but turnover is high.

Short easy hike and good views. Great for photographs too. Interesting rocks and plants en route. Good at any time of day!

Enjoyed the closeup view but really got a kick out of seeing it from Interstate 70, miles to the north as we drove away! The hike to the arch is easy and it occupies a prominent location where it stands alone and very visible from many angles as you drive through the park.

Prior to 1940, the opening in the arch was about half of what it is today and then ... a huge bolder popped out, transforming this monument in a monumental way. Just a reminder that all this is a work in progress ... to be continued ... The arch is on the right, about a mile past Sand Dune/Broken Arch... More

This is a great arch to see at either sunrise or sunset the trail is not very long and an easy hike. the views from around this arch are great and impressive, just take the time to really see what nature has created with water and frost. The Good: beautiful arch and a short walk with very few people on... More
