This is another impressive view. You will drive by this so this will be a recommended stop. The whole trail is about 1 mile one way, but you can just do about 100 feet and get great views. There is no restrooms at this stop.

Right off the parking lot, this gorgeous fin formations are just amazing to see. You can go down into the canyon for a 1 mile hike but unless you have someone meet you at the end, you need to turn around. Just amazing geology!

You will definitely see how it got it's name. Try to plan your trip so you can view it as you enter and then again and exit the park.

This was our least favorite hike in the park, not because it wasn't beautiful, it was just that we thought the view from the trailhead was the highlight of the hike. It also didn't help that we were there around 3PM when there was almost...More

If you want something a tad different than all the arches in Arches, try this hike. This hike will take you through a mini canyon and past some interesting rock formations (The Three Gossips, The Organ) and then ends at the Courthouse Towers. Fairly easy...More

Easy trail near the beginning of Arches where we saw our first sunset and gazed in awe at the “Park Avenue” structures around us. Perfect for a late afternoon visit.

My husband and I had intended to do the trail for the exercise and photo ops. But after parking and walking to the trailhead, we realized the best view was right where we were. So, we hiked only a small portion to avoid the long...More

It is a relatively easy trail to get up close and personal with the amazing formations in the area. The towering fins look amazing and all the formations in the rocks around you are fascinating. While there aren't arches to see as such, this walk...More

Of all the trails in Arches NP, this was my least favorite. It went down a somewhat dusty valley and, to me, had the least interesting rock formations of which most could be seen from the road. If there was one trail to skip in...More

The views inside the canyon are amazing on this out and back trail. Our two 5 year olds and 7 year old loved all the rock formations.
