My wife and I spent hours looking at the formations change, with the change in light. We left enamored with the beauty, and mystery of the Badlands.

The Badlands are so beautiful. Walk through this area, it doesn't take much time and it's truly unique.

This is such a beautiful place to pull out and take a little walk within Badlands National Park. At this location we saw big horn sheep up on one of the cliffs while we walked the boardwalk trail. It was such a fun activity.

There's a limited amount of board/paved trails, but it's still worth a drive through and a stop at the overlook points. Nature formations such as these are always a good time.

a) I would only take a tour if you are really, really short on time or do not want to rent a car. The Badlands are easily seen in 1 day unless you want to do some of the longer hikes. b) We found it very easy to see... More
