You should definitely stop here and get information regarding your trip through the Badlands Area. The Park rangers are very helpful and they can guide you through your day.

Typical park visitor centre with expected facilities. The National Park passport stamper is here. Clean toilets and souvenir shop. Mini theatre with free film on the Badlands. If my review has helped you, please give me a "Helpful" vote - thank you.

It depends on how much you want to explore. We spent at least an hour just in the visitor's center. If you hike and what to see everything at least a day to a day and a half.

Not sure but I think about 1957 and it was reopened after a remodel with 95 new exhibits in 2006.
