You have to travel a long way on a dirt road, but there are hundreds of dogs out there. The area is huge and there are many places to stop for pictures. Your car will get dirty.

We swung on by the see the underground buggers. And they're everywhere! Holes everywhere with little sentries standing guard everywhere calling out to the others. Fun for the kids and old alike.

I would recommend taking Sage Creek Rim Road to check out Roberts Prairie Dog Town especially if you're going west anyway. Kids are sure to enjoy watching these little critters. Roll down your windows and listen as they alert other prairie dogs by barking.

This was interesting, there was no grass. Due to not much rainfall this past year there was no vegetation. It is fun to watch the coyotes, pronghorns, and eagles while watching the Prairie Dogs.
