we opted for the option to self-drive to the canyon despite the long journey approximately up to 7hrs to and fro from Las Vegas The Strip, did not regret our decision. along the way, the view was splendid. Unfortunately when we arrive at the Canyon,...More

WOW! Majestic formations of mother nature. Just beautiful!! Take a hike into the inner depths or better yet... a horse ride. Well worth the saddle sores.

The Bryce Canyon changes hues at every point of the day as the sun changes position in the sky. We started our 2 night stay here by driving the park to see all the different vistas. Simply beautiful. You have to see the "Natural Bridge"....More

The park was nice and offered some nice views of hoodoos. The visitor center was crowded, but had a nice interactive display that the kids really enjoyed. We did one short trail called Bristlecone Pines, which provided great views and an easy mile round trip....More

Bryce Canyon is spectacular - nothing more can be said! Stayed at the canyon and went in on the first bus at 8:00a when there were very few people. Walking is more difficult than the Grand Canyon as it has a section that is uphill...More

We were worried we wouldn't be able to squeeze Bryce into our 4,500 mile road trip, but we decided that we HAD to go between the Grand Canyon's North Rim and Zion. SO thankful we did as it was gorgeous! We only had one day,...More

In my opinion, Bryce Canyon is the greatest glory USA. I'm fascinated by the colors of inanimate and living nature. Prevailing geological structures hoodoos of shapes similar figures of've only seen Queen Victoria. If we compare the rock formations in Bohemia, there is more to...More

Would you recommend the Bryce - Rainbow Point Shuttle (guided)Tour?? I would like to find out more about the Rainbow Point guided tour, for which reservations are required. How easy/hard is it to get a reservation if one calls the day before at 8am? 1. I presume THIS shuttle tour is separate to the usual shuttle that runs within the Bryce Amphitheater Region? 2. Would you say that this tour is ideal for one who isn't doing any hiking in the park, but wants to see much as possible in half a day? 3. Does this tour begins at the Shuttle boarding area and goes to Rainbow point? 4. How much time does one get to spend at each stop? 5. Does this tour stop at the four "points" (Bryce, Inspiration Sunset, Sunrise) in the amphitheater section? Thanks.

We are planning to visit Bryce May.21 2017 evening (overnight in Tropic) and back May. 22 morning. Which view point would be best to view the sunset from? Sunset point?? Is there a time restriction in driving south to some of the view points in the park AFTER park hours? Thanks Aprille

Sunset is the place but anywhere on the rim is scenic then. There are no restrictions at night driving when the park is open, but not much to see and some risk of running into deer and whatnot mesmerized by headlights.😎
