Amazing clear water with just enough green tint. Worth stopping on the trail to view. Nice to see it has not been a receptacle for coins or trash!

We saw this while on the King's Palace Tour-- water is clear- combination of green and blue- it looks small but deep enough to be over most adult heads- You can only see this on this tour

A pool of water along the King's Palace tour, the Green Lake isn't very interesting by itself. Everything else on the tour overshadows it. Note that you must reserve and participate in the King's palace tour to see it, but if you know where to...More

The "Lake" is pretty small, however it is very deceiving. It looks like it is only about a foot or two deep, but according to the ranger it would be well over your head. It takes specific conditions, depth, dissolved minerals, etc. to give it the...More

One of my absolute favorite things to see on the King's Palace tour (must be scheduled and purchased separately). The color of the water was an unreal combo of blue, green and turquoise (which I know is technically a combination of blue and green but...More

You'll see this on the King's Palace Tour ($8 and ranger guided). Be sure to take the time and effort to do this. The pool is so clear and serene. Hard to believe it's 8 ft. Deep.

Look for this when you are on the Big Room Tour. This is just one of the little things in this huge room. The lake is pretty spectacular on its own, it is just overwhelmed by all of the other great things in the room.

You go by this at the end of the Kings Palace tour. It was a neat sighting, very clear lake. It's a little smaller than I expected, but a very cool thing to see. Not something I would necessarily go out of my way to...More

This lake was beautiful. It looked very clear and you could see straight to the bottom. They said that it was 8 feet deep, but it only looked like it was three or four feet deep. It is wonderful. We didn't notice it when we...More

This lake is formed by water that drips through the above 750 feet of ground. There are strange looking decorations around the lake. These are formed by water with silicia in it sliding down the rocks and into the lake.
