Another "must stop" in Death Valley. Short walk to the top viewing stop. Beautiful views. There are also several walking trails in the same area.

Great stop along the way to take a peak and some of the magnificent views of the valley. If you have time you can plan a couple hour hike down as well. FYI pets aren't allowed back up at the view point or around the area, so you'll have to get creative if you do want to hike around. You... More

Death Valley in general, and Zabriskie Point in particular, was a fascinating experience for us! My husband and I enjoyed taking in the view and trying to capture the beauty on camera, but the boys were happy stealing off on and exploring on their own! It was 5 star fun for all of us!!! Definitely going back there!

lots of parking. while the path is paved and relatively short, it would be challenging to push a wheelchair up.

Visited twice - one time just to take pics and walk - which was the right choice. Another for sunrise - which I didn't like, cold, windy and no actual sunrise to see. Sun appears from the mountain when it is almost day light and no wonder. But that is specific to all Death Valley sunsets and sunrises which I... More

This is a great place to see the Badlands of Death Valley where uplifted geologic formations of old lake deposits have been eroded. The view from the elevated viewing area shows the expansive erosion and is a great lesson in geology. It's not far from Furnace Creek Visitor's Center.

Amazing geographic landmark. This is a close drive from Furnace Creek Resort. Did not get a chance to hike further but lots of picture taking.

Easy walk from the parking lot. Definitely worth the stop. Take a hike if you have time. Beautiful views of the canyons around. Weather was just perfect end of Nov. Another favorite and one of my Do Not Miss spots in Death Valley - Dante's View, Badwater basin, Zabriskie point, Devil's Golf Course and Mesquite Sand Dunes.

Zabriskie Point is another amazing natural wonder in fabulous Death Valley NP. There is a little uphill walk from the parking lot, but worth the effort to get to the point.

No visit to the park is complete without a visit to this viewpoint. There are so many different colors and formations to view. The effect of erosion is clear. Photograph here is fantastic just be certain to go early. For the best viewing consider a trip before breakfast. Get your shots in before the harsh sun gets to high in... More
