Great place to visit. Easy stopover right off the road into, or out of the park, on the eastern side. Beautifully eroded hills ranging from yellow to brown. It's a bit of a walk to the top (~5 minutes?) on a gently sloping path. If...More

We do not had much hopes about Death valley, but this NP very pleasantly surprised us. Zabriskie point is nothing similar what you expect to see and it's landscape is so amazing. Take a look at the pictures and you will understand.

This was the kids favorite stop. Beautiful views. Short incline walk. You can also hike there from Golden Canyon - 2.5 miles.

Hike to the side trail is a little challenge but the view on the top is well worth the effort. Although it's not the perfect lighting condition, the view is still pretty amazing, given the vast size of Death Valley.

Very special place with great views in nearly every direction. It is even more impressive you you could walk outside the observation space. It is bet to visit either in am or during subset.

This is an oft visited site in the late afternoon and early evening so expect there to be lots of people taking in the view and taking photos, but definitely go!

Great views of the Valley and badlands from this location. Its proximity to the main road into the park, and the short hike up to the point, make it accessible.

Went for Sunrise in December. There is a steep (but short)walk from parking lot, so if you have health issues , may be difficult Sunrise was gorgeous, cold awaiting it.
