You would never guess what the golf course would look like if you don't drive and see for yourself. It's really hot of course, but an amazing stop. You're allowed to walk out on the area which makes it special as well. You can get...More

It was off the path of the main road, but it was only a short drive on a dirt road which can be done even in a sedan/coupe. Definitely recommend taking the ten minutes to go see it.

If you're on a tight schedule going through Death Valley and tempted to skip this place, don't! I have seen much of the US but never anything like this. The salt formations are unique: rock-hard and razor-edged and fascinating. My family and I spent only...More

The place resembled more of a ploughed field in a drought stricken place. Dry heat spewed from the stark greyish brown earth. Closer examination of the dry earth showed salt crystals on the mud cakes or hard rocks. The stifling heat, even in early summer...More

It's difficult to capture in a photo but the alien landscape seems to go on forever. Salt water bubbling up, evaporating, repeating.... and BOOM! Lumpy golf course. Referred to by an early park guide as 'a place only the Devil could play golf'.

This is one of those quirky places on the map with a cutesy name that causes you to visit. If you're pressed for time, skip this stop, which is down a bumpy, dirt road.

If the Devil designed a golf course, this is what it would look like. The landscape is one of a kind. There are some delicate salt structures their. You have to be careful to be able to see them, but worth the effort.

This is a quick stop (well it was for us) on our tour of Death Valley. There is a little parking lot area where you can walk around and see the signs and walk out a bit onto the insane landscape and take pics, Some...More

We parked and walked over into the Devil's golf course. Salt laden rocks covering a large flat. Be careful walking, as the signs indicate the rocks contain some very sharp edges. A worthy stop to make while visiting the Park
