If you're in the area, it's worth seeing. Nothing really spectacular in my opinion though. Very unusual.

It was very easy to get to and enjoyable to look around in the wilderness. We just parked by the road and walked for about an hour at sunset and it was extremely relaxing being in an endless flat land with white rocks underneath.

Interesting landscape. After a short drive off the main road you arrive at this location. Glad we stopped.

These salt/ sulfa are taller than Badwater and very intertwind upon each other. A huge aray of shapes and sizes that we were told change constantly and are very fraigil. Not a lot of parking and to walk in could be very rough, not to mention harmful to the area.

It's a short drive down a gravel road to see these mineral/salt formations. It's one of those weird "only in Death Valley" things that you need to see.

Long unpaved road to a site akin to the salt flats, which is more accessible by card for wheelchair users.

This is a Must See sight in Death Valley. The terrain clearly shows how harsh an environment you are in. It's a short drive off Badwater Road, on an unpaved road. You can venture out onto the rough terrain, but be careful! A fall would certainly result in injury.

It was a long drive from the highway marker to Devils GolfCourse. I didn't think it was worth the drive Better idea would be to plan on playing Furnace Creek real golf course. Winter weather at Death Valley is great for golf.

My idea of a salt flat was re-defined. Many are used to a open are, flat as can be. Very interesting & unique terrain made more fun because you were able to venture out onto it. Yes, the dare is whether you will break off some salt to taste. up, I did. It did not disappoint.
