This is easily accessible by auto right next to road. Great view. Terrific combination of colors in one area. Dark lava in one area and multiple colors in others. Short trail out on the point. Don't miss

I didnt find it to be a great view point and it is pretty far out of the way unless you are on the west side of death valley already. If you are going to Darwin's Falls it is worth stopping here as they are super close. If not, I would bypass it.

We stopped here on our way out of Death Valley. This is worth stopping at and taking the little walk to see all of the sights. After we got in the car and started to leave we heard some of the fighter planes from Nellie AFB fly over it happen so quickly that we couldn't see them.

Father Crowley Point is absolutely well worth a stop. There's a decent sized car par/ lay by just off the highway and the views of Death Valley N.P. are amazing. It's such a beatiful area and this viewing point was the first of many we visited and we'd highly recommend it.

I read up on the main sites of Death Valley but had not noticed mention of this place but we saw cars stopped and decided to follow suit on our way into Death Valley after traveling down 395 from Mammoth/Mono Lake area. It was our first glimpse of what was to come. Many people seemed to be really savoring the... More

Arriving from the west side of the park, this is the first viewpoint to stretch your legs after a long drive, before you drop down into the Panamint Springs area (where prices for gas and snacks at the store are outrageous, keep going to Stovepipe Wells) of Death Valley itself. Take the time to walk out to the point towards... More

This is a nice welcome spot to stop driving in from the West. There are views of both the desert and the mountains. There is a good amount of parking. Facilities, too.

We only stopped for a moment and had just missed jets from the Naval Base flying up the canyon. The view was worth it though.
