I enjoyed my stay here. The staff is very friendly, the room was quite nice and included a mini-fridge. Very clean and well-maintained. Free coffee until 7 am in the lobby. There is a fire pit out front with rocking chairs for the end of the day.

Not much of a reason to stop here unless you need something. We needed to watch the Super Bowl, so we stopped at the saloon. Food prices were reasonable, about $20 a plate (with tip). Beers were $4.50-6 a pint, pretty reasonable for the remote location and lack of options. Some people stay here at the hotel or small campground.... More

This is the first place I stopped by in Death Valley coming from California. The general store is great and even though I don't like buying souvenirs, I can't help myself in grabbing a couple of t-shirts as they are truly unique and much better than the ones found in Furnace Creek. Also paid for my park access here and... More

We stopped here for a night and found it was beautiful. The sky at night was amazing and the landscape even though it was desolate it was still very beautiful. The village itself is very small and is made up if a general store, hotel with pool and a bar with restaurant. The hotel has RV and tent pitches behind... More

General store prices seemed lower than prices at the hotel gift shop. Gas station here with very pricey gas, do not take a chance on getting gas. Keep about a 1/2 tank available for your use. Interesting Gift shop at the General Store

Considering this hotel is inside the National Park it is totally adequate for a one night stay. However I wouldn't particularly like to stay any longer than this. The room was on the small side, but clean and practical, just. The food served at the bar was good if not great. The breakfast was decidedly average.

Jist of the review is in the title. We stayed at the campground for 5 nights in tent camping. Nothing special, sound carries too well over the flat land. View is georgeous. Bathrooms had plenty of TP, no hot water. Store really stood out for its very fair prices.Wood was a good price, about $7 for a decent size bundle.... More

After a long car ride, this is a good place to stop, stretch, snack and bathroom. The gift shop has a vast array of items and the outdoor seating a pleasant place to take a break.

Contrary to other reports, gasoline was $3.37/gallon for regular. Modestly more than we paid in Baker and $0.60/gallon more than in Ridgecrest.

After exploring the dunes, my husband and I had a nice lunch here. My husband had a bowl of chili and a burger. He said it was good. I got a prickly pear margarita and an entree salad with mixed greens, black beans, avocado, corn, and grilled chicken. It was surprisingly refreshing. The deco was beautiful and great service.
