Wear layers and take an extra pair of socks, no hoodies. The water on the Nenana River is 34-36 degrees, but what fun! All guides are certified professionals with years of experience. You’re in good hands with Denali Raft staff!

This was my first whitewater rafting adventure. I enjoyed the rapids. We were given dry suite to wear and wore warm clots underneath. I stayed dry from the dry suite. The guide was helpful. Went as a group and opted to row ourselves. This is...More

Our family split due to ages and river skills and they were great at accommodating our needs. They have dry suits that help a ton to keep you warm, but don't expect to be comfortable. They are worse than wetsuits and I felt like I...More

Even in the summer the water is COLD which is why everyone dons a dry suit. You feel a little like a stuffed sausage but the staff is super helpful with assisting with stuffing you in! After a short bus ride and safety talk you...More

Our guide Rocco made this trip amazing! We booked the McKinley Run paddle raft on mild water and my 17 and 13 year old boys were apprehensive - they figured that this was going to be boring. Far from it! Smiles grew when we put...More

Expect nothing less than "COLD" water and you will be delightfully surprised by the efficiency of the dry suits. Every body gets to wear the dry suits, otherwise you would die in the 2 hours it take to ride down the river. Silt filled glacier...More

The van picking us up was on time and set a great tone from the start. Paperwork went quickly and the staff was very clear what we needed to do at each stage. The drysuits were tight as promised, but not uncomfortable. Brandy gave a...More

Denali Raft does not recommend wearing your hearing aids while rafting. You can wear them up to the time you get in the raft then give them to the driver before you go rafting. This way you can listen to the safety lecture... More

You need only wear socks. The drysuits have latex socks and Denali Raft Adventures provides neoprene booties that you wear over the latex socks. You will leave your shoes at the office while rafting

The McKinley Run or the 4 Hour Scenic would be the best options! These two trips are our mildwater trips with class I, II and one class III rapid. These are both great options for familes with less adventurous members.
