An extra special thank you goes out to Wayne and Tyler for making this one of the most memorable moments in our lives. There are few moments in life that literally take your breath away but this hike did several times. Tyler was super informative about everything from Geology to indigenous animals and Wayne's piloting skills provided and enjoyable ride... More

Hike in - Raft out. Packrafting. A chance to get out of the bus and into the real Alaskan wilderness. Kevin was our guide - fantastic, informative, positive and a lot of fun. After about a 2 mile downhill hike from the Denali Highway, we started our 3 hour raft down the Nenana River. Packs were comfortable and not too... More

Education about flora/fauna of Denali Rain Forest. Fun and interesting. Wear Rain Gear as you don't want rain ruining the hike. Guide carries bear spray and educates everyone re: bear and/or moose encounters. Tyler was our guide. He is very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job- picked us up at cabins. Snacks provided.

We were on our a cruise-land tour for our honeymoon and are SO happy we booked the pack raft excursion! We were a bit tired of being around so many people and this adventure was the perfect get away to get to explore some of the side of Alaska that we wanted to see. Kevin was our tour guide and... We were in Denali as part of a cruise landtour and were looking for a more active way to explore the nature around us after many hours in a bus. Kevin took us on a 3 h nature walk, that was just incredible. He adjusted the pace to our capability and used the frequent breaks to explain lots about the... More

We did two trips with Denali Backcountry Guides. Our first trip was a guided hike with Emily. She was extremely knowledgable about the area and one thing that really stuck with us is her teaching us about the different edible berries around Denali. Just a fun hike and a great way to get your toes wet and see the area.... More

Our Alaska tour included the Denali bus trip into the park (which was great) but I also wanted to experience the Denali area outside the bus and this 3 hour walking tour did it. Jeffrey did pick up/drop off right from our hotel (and later even brought back some items I had left in the van). There were only 3... More

This was a truly incredible excursion and one my wife, myself and our travelling companions will never forget. It is difficult to find words sufficient to convey the scope of this experience. Think of the overused word awesome in its root sense of creating of feeling of AWE!! We commented often during our hike that we felt like a "speck"... More

Had a great experience with Jeffrey (Owner & Guide) on a Heli-Hiking adventure. Helicopter took us up to 3,000 to 4,000 feet, and we hiked along a ridge-line with wonderful views on all sides. This was the highlight of our Denali experience. Jeffrey clearly knows the terrain, plants, and history and is a great guide keeping watch for wildlife, and... More
