I'd say it's a MUST DO to white water raft if you have the time. It's an amazing way to see the landscape and if you have a good guide you'll feel like a rockstar going through all the rapids. DO IT!

This is the third time we have rafted the Middle Fork of the Flathead (Glacier Raft Company). Great fun, especially when bringing people along who would never consider such an adventure, and when done, state it was the high lite of their trip!!

Fast flowing due to the spring snow melt. Rapids were still good, but due to high water dealt with more waves than anything.

We unknowingly stopped at the boat launch area for the middle fork. Evidently the river must be much higher at other times since when we were there even a raft would be boucing along on rocks because the river was so low. It was pretty...More

Go here if you are here in June/July. Rafting was fun and the water is so clear and cold. The river is deep and you can see train tracks and box cars down there from the 1960s.
