Bring waterproof shoes for hike near the lake. Dress appropriately for wet weather. Awesome mountain and river views. Should be a bucket list item. Some parts of the entry road are rough. Numerous hikes available enroute.

When the status of highway MT49 changed to reopened, it was time for me to head east. Spring along the Northern Rocky Mountain Front is a sight to behold. The trees are leafing out, the grasses are lush green, and there’s still lots of snow...More

What a gorgeous place! Start with the lodge and just explore the area. If you came prepared, the boat ramp is across the lake to the west. There is so much to see here, but the lake steals the show! We took the kayaks out...More

We stayed at the Many Glaciers hotel and took walks around the lake plus a tour in their tour boat. There are many oppotunities to take picyures and see wildlife all around the lake

My husband and I took the long boat tour which went around and across Swiftcurrent. We then walked across about 1/4 mi to Lake Josephine. The boat tour continued across that lake and then we hiked about 2 miles to Grinnell Lake which is fed...More
