What can I say - it's "Grand". Helpful staff and guides, bus drivers, etc. The fact that you can go right to the edge was very disconcerting but I left those pictures to my wife friends. Cool weather in February - bring a coat or warm sweater. Hualapai center was interesting.

This was my husband and my second trip to the south rim and were excited to bring our kids and show them the spectacular canyon. Sadly it was snowing and so foggy we looked out into nothing but clouds! We enjoyed going in that offseason when it's less busy and you can drive the road to hermits rest but we're... More

The south rim is a short 5 minute drive from the entrance of the national park. ($30 admission fee) There is lots of parking and a large visitor center at the rim. The view of the canyon from the overlook is breathtaking. The area can be quite crowded when several tour buses arrive.

What can I say..... Our first trip to the Grand Canyon. This was in February, it was a bit cold, in the low thirties. Also when we got there mid-morning, it was cloud covered. by mid afternoon it was burned off.

There is no point in my describing the world's number 1 scenic attraction to you as no matter from which viewpoint you view it, the dimensions and grandeur are overwhelming. If you can afford it, take the helicopter tour. Unforgettable!!!

It was our second trip to the Grand Canyon and it did not disappoint. The rim hikes are easy but the Bright Angel Hike is not for beginners. If you are in shape and can hike for 4-6 hours, it's worth the time and effort. If you are not in shape, estimate 1.5 to 2 times the time to get... More

The Grand Canyon was magnificent. The views are breathtaking! The movie at the visitors center was informative. One caution to visitors: Don't expect to eat good food. One buffet we went to looked so disgusting that we had to ask for a refund. Wendy's is the highest ranked restaurant in the area. ALL of the restaurants except McDonalds close at... More

This is one of the greatest sights you will ever see. Every turn and lookout spots seems more imaging than the last. Hiking trails and facilities are first rate.
