As a first time visitor, I couldn't have picked a better tour than this! My guide, I believe her name was Jennifer, was so knowledgable and took so much time explaining the history and origins of The Canyon. The tour lasted a full day and our guide took us to many Native American attractions near The Canyon that I would... More

This was a last minute booking made the morning of the day. Tim Wilson was our driver/guide. We cannot say enough about Tim! Very pleasant, knowledgeable, friendly, funny, attentive and professional. There are no words sufficient to describe the Grand Canyon! I am humbled by the striking magnificence of the tiny portion of the 277 mile expanse we were able... More

Excellent day at the Grand Canyon! Kenny picked us up from the hotel in Flaggstaff at 8:30 a.m. We then proceeded to three other hotels to pick up the remaining six tourists. We were a small group and that made it an even better experience. As a science teacher, Ken explained how the Grand Canyon was formed along with stories... More

We asked Richard, the tour concierge at the BW Premier Grand Canyon hotel, for a tour of the Canyon, "but not one of those that has an old van and there's more driving than sightseeing." Well, we were sold Dave's and got what we didn't want. Our guide Dora was ok, but I did not expect so much geology and... More

The eight hour tour with a small group led by our guide, Kenny, hit the jackpot at every turn from early morning views, informing educational tidbits, a reservation trip thru the desert with a lunch stop at the Indian outpost, to the grand finale of a double rainbow over the South Rim. A day well spent on an awesome adventure!

The expertise and knowledge of our guide-Kenny, was amazing. I was very impressed. We had a near perfect day, filled with interesting stops. Ken answered nearly every question we had. The van was comfortable, not crowded. Felt personal and not like a big tour. We stopped in the painted hills of the Dineh tribe for lunch. Shopping was nice opportunity... More

I was initially worried about an eight hour tour... boy was I wrong. We had a wonderful day with lots of sightseeing, area information, brief but thorough geography lesson, plant and animal info, and a beautiful visit to the Navaho reservation for lunch. Kenny was terrific- very flexible about our itinerary, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. This tour was a bargain... More

I was part of a tour group that took the Canyon Dave tour. Let me say what a wonderful time we had. Kenny our guide was really excellent. The geology lesson on the rim was really memorable - as was his truly passionate connection with the terrain through which he was taking us. I would certainly recommend.

It was the most enjoyable and educational tour ever. Our guide, Kenny, told us about the vegetation, the trees and allowed us to sample the Juniper fruits. He told the stories about the importance of the seeds in the Hopi and other Indian cultures. He gave us a sit down class of the geology of the Grand Canyon as we... More
