The visitors centre was well served by all the Shuttle Bus Routes. A good place to stop and view the exhibits there. It was only by chance we noticed the new cinema. It was free and we thoroughly enjoyed the film that covered the geological history of the Grand Canyon. It also showed us the types of wildlife present in... More

The building has an interesting architecture since it is designed to help keep the temperature inside comfortable without the use of a/c and heat. Other than that there is nothing worth seeing here. Sure there is a video but it doesn't really explain anything. It is better to come with a plan on how you are going to hit the... More

Like the heading says, the bathrooms were disgusting but you really have no other choice. The center was nice otherwise and there were a few creative displays.

The Grand Canyon--everyone must see this place. However, not visiting during peak times (spring break or summer) would make the visit better. The Canyon is of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. We did everything on the rim including the Geology Museum, old Village and Kolb Brothers studio. The Kolb studio was my favorite, other than hiking. We hiked... More

There is a short movie at the visitor center which is informative and engaging. The park rangers are great and give very useful information on what types of activities to do based on the ages of your kids. Also the junior ranger program was a hit with my younger son (7 years old). We were also lucky enough to be... More

The building is large enough to have rangers talking about different aspect of the Grand Canyon as well as have good informational books and maps

Its always good to get all the information you can when you are coming to a Wonder of the World like Grand Canyon, for the first time. The area is beautiful and the facilities are exceptionally clean. Its near a nice big gift shop and the other village area attractions. You will enjoy a short movie about the park, will... More

The visitor center staff is very helpful, there is a short movie on the canyon and there are clean toilets located nearby. We were there during spring break so it was very crowded but the staff handled the crowds very well. If at all possible I would avoid going during spring breaks or holidays, as it is harder to enjoy... More
