There is a little museum on the left side of the center and a gift store on the right. I liked the music playing, which was really peaceful. Lots of things here for gift giving, including some stickers, Raven puppets, hats, canteens and water bottles,...More

The Visitor Centre is a must. Here you will gain insight to make your visit more memorable. The Rangers are there to help and advise, plus maps and info. They have an interesting short film about the Canyon too.

Professional approach. Nice movie and possibility to talk to the rangers, but the line can be long. Educative billboards outside giving plenty of info on the hiking trails

Lots of information and a very good movie, almost like IMAX in some of the photography. Weather reports and questions answered from the knowledgable rangers.

We entered the park through the east entrance and left out this south gate. It was much more crowded than the east entrance! There are acres and acres of parking, a big visitor center, restrooms, educational areas, picnic areas, a film, souvenir shops, snack shops,...More
