This quaint village that captured the heart of the early settlers is still felt within the historic, houses and barn. The Grand Tetons and occasional wildlife creates a nuance like no other place on earth. The historic markers capture the remarkable spirit and optimism of...More

Mormon Row Historic District wasn't on our radar when we went to Jackson but, somehow, we stumbled onto this gem. It's just off the major road and parking was a breeze. The buildings are mildly interesting as they're period maintained. You can't go inside so...More

Had to join in with the millions of other people photographing these famous barns over the years. The pamphlets were helpful for the history of the Mormons who settled here.

Just off the main north-south highway, the historic buildings are interesting and offer good photo's with the Teton mountians in the background. At dawn and dusk, wildlife viewing is possible. During our visit, the ranger-led dusk game viewing included a stop at this site. Sorry,...More

Beautiful area and views, however if you are attempting to get some great photos be sure to be here early in the day or late in the afternoon, as it tends to get crowded.

As time passes the light changes, both on the buildings/barns and the Tetons in the distance. Watch for wildlilfe on the road and in meadows around the area. We encountered both moose and bison. We met a British gentleman who had been there an hour....More

Beautiful area. There are nice barns on both dirt roads to the north and south of main paved road. The one to the south is the most famous one. There is a restroom across from it.

This is an easy spot to get to and would be a shame to miss. Sure, it's a bit "post-cardy" but its quiet, relaxed and enjoyable. There's really no reason to miss it, it's not out of the way and should definitely be seen.

We arrived at Mormon Row early one morning and what a beautiful sight it was, as it was early it was slightly misty which made it all look even better. Well worth a visit.

You are correct on the unpaved roads and no cars...fortunately, the drivable roads come close enough and have a parking area which is a short (maybe a 100 feet) from good viewing angles. A walkable road continues past the... More
